Seamus McGarvey Shoots Irish Art with 900R
Oscar and BAFTA nominated Director of Photography, Seamus McGarvey was in Dublin last week to shoot the latest project for Irish artist, Willie Doherty.
The as yet untitled project, a part of the Docklands Body City project, was shot on a HDCAM package from The Production Depot comprimising of a SONY 900R, CANON HJ11 and ZEISS DIGIPRIMES. Steadicam Operator was Stephen Murphy with Conor Hammond as focus puller.

'AISLINGS DIARY' GOES EX-1
‘Aisling’s Diary’ has just Wrapped after 3 weeks of filming in Dublin with DOP Eleanor Bowman behind the Camera
Bowman used 2 SONY PMW EX-1 HD XDCAM Camera packages from The Production Depot for the duration with a 3rd Camera on dailies when required. This along with 9" SD SDI MONITORS, WIDE ANGLE ADAPTORS, 4" MATTE BOX and FOLLOW FOCUS complated the package
’Aisling’s Diary’ is created by ‘Sofia’s Diary’ creator Nuno Bernardo and written by Melanie Martinez and Irish writer Rσise Goan. Line producer on the series is Mairtin de Barra.

Florin Ballhaus shoots with ARRICAM in Galway !
Director Of Photography, Florian Ballhaus, was in Ireland last week to shoot pick ups for the Fox 2000 / Regency produced Feature film , 'Marely & Me'.
Florian travelled to Galway with the Production team to shoot in Galway for a few days and took his shooting package from The Production Depot.
This included ARRICAM ST, ARRICAM LT, Optimo Zooms, Zeiss Ultra Primes and a full Grip package.
Heather Norton was Focus Puller / Camera assistant, the Loader was Andrew O'Reilly and the Grip was Paul Tsan.
'Marely & Me' is based on a memoir by John Grogan and stars Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson.

THE PRODUCTION DEPOT is celebrating it's 4th Birthday this week !
Established in 2004, THE PRODUCTION DEPOT has grown and developed into the leading supplier of equipment and services to the Film and Television Industry.
The 'DEPOT' is always evolving alongside an ever changing industry and this week is completing a full upgrade of all it's equipment and services. This upgrade covers all aspects of the DEPOT including: New Camera & Grip equipment, Extended range of Consumables, Improved On-site Testing facilities, New Training programs and Technical Advice on Formats. This will culminate in the launching of the new PRODUCTION DEPOT website, in the coming week.
New Camera Equipment include ARRICAM LITE (35mm), ARRI 435 EXTREME 935mm), ARRI 416 (16mm), RED ONE (4K,3K,2K), and SONY PMW EX-1 XDCAM. New Lenses ZEISS MASTER PRIMES, ZEISS ULTRA PRIMES, COOKE S4 CLASSIC, ZEISS ULTRA16 PRIMES and CANON HD ZOOMS.

Production Depot Receives Sony XDCam
The Production Depot has taken delivery of its new Sony XDCams. The Sony PMW-EX1 XDCam offers all the benefits of tapeless workflow, selectable bit rates and outstanding picture performance coupled with new creative recording features and lens features which are hoping to redefine the standard for the professional compact camcorder market.
